2011 Ride and Run to Remember
NLEOM Washington DC

On October 16th 2011 members from Chapter 37 participated in a fundraising bike ride from National Harbor in Maryland to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
2011 Rugged Maniac
Brooklyn, NY

On November 19, 2011 Rugged Maniac hosted its Rugged 5K event at Aviator Sports Park, Floyd Bennett Field. There were almost 3000 participants and Rugged Maniac donated a check for $10,000.00 to Chapter 37 New York. There was a Police vs Fire challenge during the 2pm heat which was won by FDNY Engine 265, Congrats!

2011 Tough Mudder

On April 10th 2011 members of Chapter 37 New York as well as other members of Port Authority Police Dept NY/NJ competed in the Tough Mudder event

At our WTC ceremony prior to the 2011 ride, Police Officer Rachel Morgan of Paramus PD was presented with a lifetime member plaque in recognition of her strength and courage after being shot 5 times during a traffic stop in February 2011

2011 Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride NY, Babylon to the Beaches

 

On July 22, 2011 there were 25 members of Chapter 37 who participated in this Soldier Ride in support of our military men and women who are wounded during war. It is a very humbling experience to ride along side these warriors. This was Chapter 37's fourth year in a row participating in this leg of the NY Soldier Ride.
